CM Sukhu is taking commendable decisions in the interest of the state : Baldev Thakur

Baldev Thakur, former Congress Secretary and Director of the State Urban Transport and Bus Stand Management Authority, praised the decisions made by the Cabinet under the leadership of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu. He said that the Chief Minister is continuously taking visionary and public welfare measures in the interest of the state.

He said that the decision to increase the honorarium of temporary employees will provide financial relief to thousands of families. Meanwhile, the decision to replace diesel-petrol taxis with electric taxis in the Transport Department will prove to be a historic step towards making the state a green state.

Baldev Thakur also said that the Chief Minister’s decision to extend the mayor’s term and postpone the Panchayat Raj elections is both practical and administratively sound. This will ensure continuity of development work in local bodies and provide sufficient time for the smooth conduct of the electoral process.

He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, the state government is pursuing development, environmental protection, and employee welfare in a balanced manner. These government steps will prove crucial in making Himachal a self-reliant and modern state.
