CM Sukhu expresses grief over martyrdom of Subedar Major Pawan Kumar
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has expressed grief over the martyrdom of Subedar Major Pawan Kumar of 25 Punjab Regiment in a shelling by Pakistan army in Jammu and Kashmir today morning. He belonged to Shahpur Nagar Panchayat of Kangra district.
In his condolence message, Chief Minister said that Subedar Major Pawan Kumar has made his supreme sacrifice for upholding the unity and sovereignty of the country and will be remembered by the people for ever.
He said that State Government stands in solidarity with the affected family in this hour of grief and will also extend all possible assistance.
He prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
Deputy Chief Minister mourns martyrdom of Subedar Major Pawan Kumar
Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri has expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of Subedar Major Pawan Kumar, a brave heart from Shahpur who laid down his life while serving the nation. He was part of the 25 Punjab Regiment and attained martyrdom during intense shelling by Pakistan in the border area of Rajouri.
Mukesh Agnihotri said that Subedar Major Pawan Kumar belongs to a proud military family, followed in the footsteps of his father, Garja Singh, a retired Havildar of the Indian Army. He said that the supreme sacrifice made by this brave son was a matter of immense pride for the state and the country. The nation would always remember and honour the courage and dedication of such gallant soldiers and their sacrifice would never be forgotten.
The Deputy Chief Minister prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to bear this profound loss.
Health Minister mourns martyrdom of Subedar Major Pawan Kumar
Health Minister Dr. (Col.) Dhani Ram Shandil has mourned the loss of Subedar Major Pawan Kumar, a resident of Shahpur Nagar Panchayat in Kangra district, who was martyred during an encounter with Pakistan. He stated that the brave soldier’s ultimate sacrifice in the service of the nation is a matter of great pride for the entire country. His unwavering courage, commitment and patriotism will continue to inspire generations.
The Minister offered his sincere condolences to the bereaved family and said that the loss is immeasurable. He said that the people of Himachal Pradesh and the entire nation stand united with the martyr’s family in this moment of grief.
Health Minister also prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to the family to endure this tragic loss.
