CM Sukhu congratulates Narendra Modi on becoming Prime Minister

Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu congratulated Narendra Modi on assuming the office of Prime Minister of India. He expressed hope that Shri Modi would come up to the expectations of the people of the country as well as the state.

The Chief Minister expressed optimism that Himachal Pradesh would get substantial financial support from the Union Government for the development initiatives in Himachal Pradesh during his stint as the Prime Minister.

He said that key areas in Himachal Pradesh could benefit from enhanced financial assistance, which would strengthen and promote the overall development of the state.

The Chief Minister has also extended his congratulations to Jagat Prakash Nadda on his swearing-in as the Union Cabinet Minister of India. He said that Shri Nadda is well-acquainted with the state’s topography and expressed hope that he would address the developmental demands and needs of the people of Himachal Pradesh.
