CM and Deputy CM expresses grief over death of Madan Lal Kaundal
Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu and Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri have expressed grief over the death of Madan Lal Kaundal, the Chief Organizer of Hamirpur District Congress Sevadal. The Chief Minister said that Madan Lal Kaundal’s commitment towards the organization and his contribution to social service will always be remembered.
The Chief Minister has prayed to Almighty God to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to bear this immense loss.
Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri expressed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed to God for the peace of the departed soul.
There was a wave of mourning in the entire region including Congress workers on the demise of senior Congress leader Madan Lal Kaundal, who was five times president of District Congress Seva Dal Hamirpur. Today, in his last journey, the Chairman of the Unorganized Workers and Employees Congress (KKC) of the state, Rajiv Rana, paid floral tribute and paid emotional tribute to him.
Rajiv Rana said, “Madan Lal Kaundal ji was a hardworking and loyal Congress soldier. His dedication towards the organization and society has been exemplary. His demise is a deep loss for the Congress family which is impossible to compensate in the near future.”
Madan Lal Koondel was not only the president of the District Congress Seva Dal five times, but he was also active on important posts like the president of the Other Backward Classes Department of the State Congress and the state vice-president of the Sen Samaj Kamgar Sangathan.

On this occasion, he was bid farewell by draping the Congress flag on him and flowers were offered to his mortal remains. The farewell with tearful eyes in the peaceful atmosphere of the forest made the entire atmosphere emotional.
