CM accept verdict of by-elections Blame Price Rise & party infighting cause of defeat
Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur said that he humbly accepts the verdict given by the people in the by-elections to one Lok Sabha seat and three Vidhan Sabha Constituencies of the State.
Responsing two defeat of all bye election seats in Assembly including a Lok Sabha Mr Thakur said that people have voted against price rise which is infact global phenomenon.
He said that party lost owing to infighting and antiparty activities which is partially visible and party also find if any workers and leader defyed it in the poll.
Terming the victory of Congress in Mandi Parametery routine matter he said that Chief minister Virbhadra Singh have also lost all Parliamentary seat in the Lok Sabha general election in 2014 when he have completed two years in the power.
He said that Bharatiya Janta Party lost the Mandi Parliamentary seat with a narrow margin.
After four years of my Goverment BJP lost Mandi Parliamentary Bye Election party would interspect over the defeat and incumbency against any Goverment in office for four years is inevitable, he added.
He said that these results were not according to our expectations.
Jai Ram Thakur said that we would try to come up to the expectations and aspirations of the people of the State and would work with renewed zeal and dedication to perform better in general Assembly elections-2022.
The Chief Minister has congratulated the winning candidates of these by-elections.
