Cleanliness drive conducted at Chiyog School on NSS Day

National Service Scheme (NSS) Day was celebrated with enthusiasm and service spirit on Thursday at Government Senior Secondary School, Chiyog. School Principal Sandeep Kumar Sharma attended the event as the chief guest. On this occasion, NSS volunteers expressed their commitment to service, discipline, and cleanliness.
In his address, the Principal stated that the National Service Scheme is an effective means of developing a spirit of service, discipline, leadership skills, and social responsibility in students. He added that the NSS’s objective is to ensure students’ active participation in nation-building by sensitizing them to society. The Principal commended the NSS volunteers for their participation and spirit of service. He honored the volunteers for their outstanding contributions and wished them a bright future.
NSS in-charge Vijay Laxmi highlighted the objectives and importance of the National Service Scheme during the program. She urged volunteers to incorporate service, discipline, and cleanliness into their daily lives. She said that NSS inspires students to become responsible and aware citizens.
On the occasion of NSS Day, volunteers launched a cleanliness drive on the school campus. Volunteers volunteered to clean the campus and spread awareness about cleanliness. Volunteers enthusiastically participated in the campaign, pledging to build a clean school and a healthy society.
