Cleaning of bushes and plastic waste during the cleanliness drive at Bharadia School

A special cleanliness drive was organized on Saturday at the Government Senior Secondary School, Bharadia, under the joint auspices of the Gram Panchayat Darbhog, the Mahila Mandal Darbhog, and the school family. During the drive, the school campus as well as surrounding public areas were thoroughly cleaned.
As part of the cleanliness drive, bushes, grass, and weeds that had grown around the campus and paths after the monsoon were removed to make the paths more accessible. Furthermore, plastic waste, wrappers, and other inorganic waste scattered throughout the school campus and surrounding areas were collected and disposed of appropriately.
During the campaign, members of the Mahila Mandal, teachers, and students raised awareness among villagers about cleanliness. People were urged to keep their surroundings clean and avoid using single-use plastic.
On this occasion, Gram Panchayat Darbhog’s Pradhan Kamal Thakur, School Principal Vachchan Singh Chauhan, School Management Committee Chairman Radhakrishna Sharma along with the teachers and non-teaching staff of the school took active participation.
The Principal said that cleanliness is not only an individual responsibility, but also a collective one. Such joint efforts can not only make the environment clean and beautiful, but also strengthen the sense of cleanliness and social responsibility among people.
