Chiyog School holds first general assembly of academic year
The first general meeting of the academic session was held at the Government Senior Secondary School of Excellence, Chiyog, under the chairmanship of School Management Committee Chairman Ramesh Verma and Principal Sandeep Kumar Sharma. All SMC members congratulated the Principal and teachers on the 98.2% pass percentage for the Class 12 examination. The Principal informed that Gunjan secured first place with 87% marks, and Gagan secured second place with 86% marks. Both students were honored for this.
Various issues were discussed in detail in the general meeting. On this occasion, a Joint School Management Committee was formed in the school, in which members were selected by the parents of classes 1st to 12th. Giving information about the cluster system being run by the government in the meeting, Principal Sandeep Kumar Sharma said that work is being done with the aim of providing all-round development and education to all the students. He urged the parents to cooperate in the school development work and to keep their children away from drugs and to minimize the use of mobile phones.
On this occasion, the annual work report for the 2026-2027 academic year was presented, along with school development plans, which were unanimously approved by all members. A statement of income and expenditure was also presented at the meeting, which was found to be in accordance with regulations. More than 100 parents and teachers attended the school’s general meeting, where parents offered suggestions for further improvements in education.
