Canceling Rahul Gandhi Lok Sabha membership is murder of democracy in the country: Chhattar Thakur

Activists of the National Students Union of India staged a march and protest in the campus of Himachal Pradesh University today against the cancellation of Rahul Gandhi’s Lok Sabha membership. NSUI State President Chhatar Thakur said that BJP-RRS is so scared of Rahul Gandhi that they are not backing down even from adopting such tactics. Ever since Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, the BJP government has started plotting against him. Seeing the increasing mass base of Rahul Gandhi, some conspirators sitting in the central government are not backing down from getting active and carrying out such petty activities, even if they have to attack the democratic system of the country for this. Chhattar Thakur accused the BJP central government of misusing the government machinery to suppress the question raised on the Modi-Adani duo across the country and to stop Rahul Gandhi from doing its petty politics. Chhattar Thakur informed that on the call of NSUI National President Neeraj Kundan, protests were organized by the students in support of Rahul Gandhi in various districts of the state. On this occasion, NSUI’s university unit in-charge Praveen Minhas and president Rajat Bhardwaj said that thousands of students of Himachal along with NSUI workers are standing shoulder to shoulder with Rahul Gandhi. State NSUI State Vice President Vinu Mehta, Akshita Bharota, Nitin Deshta, Chandan Mahajan, Simran Negi, Sumandeep, Mahesh, Yashwant, Avesh, Nikhil Ghamatta, Sunny Patak and many other students were present on this occasion.
