BJP’s Lok Sabha candidates won in 61 out of 68 assembly constituencies: Bindal

Reacting to the results of the 2024 elections of Himachal Pradesh, the State President of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Dr. Rajiv Bindal said that the BJP has created history by winning all four Lok Sabha seats of Himachal Pradesh for the third consecutive time. This victory is the victory of the leadership of Narendra Bhai Modi Ji, the victory of the leadership of National President Shri Jagat Prakash Nadda Ji, the victory of Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah Ji and the BJP organization. From booth level workers to state officials, all the workers have united and turned this election into a victory. The series of continuous programs, the series of public meetings of Narendra Modi Ji, Amit Shah Ji, Jagat Prakash Nadda Ji, Nitin Gadkari Ji, Yogi Adityanath Ji and other leaders took up the election campaign in an excellent manner. BJP Himachal Pradesh expresses its heartfelt gratitude and thanks to the people of Himachal.

The 2024 Lok Sabha election is a public opinion against the Congress government of the state. The people of the state have given a strong public opinion against the Sukhvinder Sukhu government and the Congress party. The Sukhu government has misused the government machinery. Employees, officers, businessmen were constantly threatened and intimidated. Despite misusing muscle power and money power to win the elections, the BJP has managed to win all four seats.

It is important to note that out of 68 Assembly constituencies, BJP Lok Sabha candidates have won in 61 Assembly constituencies.

There are 12 ministers in the government including the Chief Minister, out of which 10 ministers including the Chief Minister have lost the elections in their constituencies.

There are 6 Chief Parliamentary Secretaries in the government. It should be noted that these Chief Parliamentary Secretaries are taking advantage of power illegally and out of these 6 Chief Parliamentary Secretaries, 5 Chief Parliamentary Secretaries have lost the elections in their respective assembly constituencies. The Chief Minister losing the election from his own assembly constituency is clearly a mandate against Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu. The voters of his own assembly constituency have rejected him.

Anand Sharma, who is a national level leader of the Congress party and a favourite of the Nehru-Gandhi family, losing to a BJP worker by more than 2.50 lakh votes is a lesson for the Congress government and the Congress party. Vikramaditya Singh losing the election while being the Public Works Minister in the Congress government and losing the election from Shimla rural area which is his own area is a clear indication that the Congress party has been completely defeated. Out of a total of 40,48,000 polled votes, BJP got 22,90,819 votes which is 57 percent of the total votes polled and Congress got 16,91,000 votes which is 42 percent, that is, BJP has gained a lead of 15 percent votes over Congress whereas in the 2022 assembly elections, Congress got a lead of only 0.9 percent votes.

Dr Bindal said that Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has lost his right to hold power in view of the above election results. Public opinion is completely against him and he should resign from his post on moral grounds.
