BJP will announce candidates for all 34 wards of Municipal Corporation Shimla on April 12: Tandon

BJP organized a special meeting regarding the elections of Municipal Corporation Shimla at BJP Headquarters, Deep Kamal Chakkar, Shimla. In this meeting, BJP’s state in-charge Sanjay Tandon, state president Suresh Kashyap, candidate and former ministers Suresh Bhardwaj, Sanjay Sood, Ravi Mehta, State Office Secretary Pyaar Singh Kanwar, District President Vijay Parmar, District Incharge DG Thakur, Circle President Jitendra Bhotka, Dinesh Thakur and Shimla Circle General Secretary Sushil Chauhan were present.

The meeting was presided over by Sukhram Chowdhary, former BJP minister, MLA and municipal corporation election in-charge.

BJP state co-incharge Sanjay Tandon said that meetings of all our 34 wards have been held and our migrant in-charge will submit their report to the party in the next 3 days. He said that the election committee meeting will be held in Shimla on April 12, in which 34 candidates will be announced in BJP’s Municipal Corporation.

He said that soon we will also announce a team for the manifesto and vision letter in which the achievements of the BJP government and the Municipal Corporation will be placed before the public. He said that BJP candidates will file nominations on April 13, 17 and 18. He said that on April 30, the 100th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat program will be telecast. This will be the last day of campaigning for the Municipal Corporation elections.

He said that some such issues have also come to our notice. We request the Election Commission to reject such applications as minister’s houses are temporary and we have also come across some religious places where votes are being made in large numbers.

Tomorrow, a delegation of ours under the chairmanship of Sukhram Chowdhary, Municipal Corporation election in-charge, will also meet the Election Commission in this regard and will present the BJP’s side in front of them.

Last 3 months of Congress government has been disappointing and people of Himachal are feeling cheated, we are confident that BJP will do well in Shimla Municipal Corporation elections. He said that the BJP would fight the elections on local issues and the ticket would be given to the winning candidate.
