BJP leaders are confusing the public in anger after seeing the defeat: Suresh Kumar
Bhoranj MLA Suresh Kumar has said that BJP leaders are trying to confuse the public out of frustration after seeing the defeat. But, this is the public who knows everything. Kuto’s statement to Bhutto, over which BJP is raising hue and cry, is being presented incompletely before the Election Commission and the public. The Chief Minister never talked about thrashing Bhutto, nor does he ever make such statements. The Chief Minister had said in Samoor Kalan of Kutlehar, cast so many votes against Bhutto that the Congress candidate gets a lesson after seeing the number of votes.
Suresh Kumar said that in a democracy, the people are supreme and will never allow a sellout to win. BJP leaders have come to know about the attitude of the public, hence Bhutto and other sellable leaders are trying to prove themselves clean in front of the people. BJP has nothing to say against the Chief Minister, so now the facts are being distorted. The people of the entire state are standing shoulder to shoulder with the Chief Minister. BJP’s money power is being answered by its manpower, hence they are losing sleep.
The Congress MLA said that BJP’s defeat in all four Lok Sabha and six assembly seats is certain. BJP leaders have also realized that rhetoric will no longer work. The state government has made such unprecedented development during its 15-month tenure that BJP has become issue-less. The Congress government gave OPS to 1.36 lakh employees, gave Rs 1500 to women and sisters, brought Sukh Ashray Yojana for destitute children, started a start up scheme worth Rs 670 crore for employment to the youth. It is the first state to give MSP on milk. The Chief Minister increased the daily wage of MNREGA by Rs 60, increased the diet money of police personnel from Rs 200 to Rs 1000. Within 15 months, 5 out of 10 guarantees were fulfilled. While the BJP continued to oppose the OPS, Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur reached out to the Election Commission to stop the Rs 1500 for women. BJP can never be well-wishers of the people. Therefore, stop distorting the facts and wait for the verdict of the public court.
