BJP got lead in seats where Congress had big faces, public mood is clear: Randhir

Senior BJP leader and MLA from Naina Devi Randhir Sharma said that BJP has got an edge in the seats where Congress had big faces. In these Lok Sabha elections, the public’s attitude was clearly seen towards BJP, the popularity of the Chief Minister was not seen anywhere.

Sharma said that the big faces of Himachal Congress have not been able to get the lead for the party. BJP candidates have got the lead in the assembly constituencies of all the ministers of the state government. Not only this, wherever the star campaigners of Congress went to campaign, the lead has gone to BJP’s account. BJP has got a lead of 2143 votes even in Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu’s assembly constituency Naidun, which clearly shows what the mood of the public is. In Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu’s constituency in Naidun, BJP has a lead of 2143, in Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kuldeep Pathania’s Bhatiyat, BJP has a lead of 13166, in Health Minister Colonel Dhaniram Shandil’s Solan constituency, BJP has a lead of 5116, in Industry Minister Harshbardhan Chauhan’s Shillai, BJP has a lead of 2317, in Vikramaditya Singh’s Shimla Rural, BJP has a lead of 5873 votes in Minister Aniruddh Singh’s Kusumpti, BJP has a lead of 8833 in Minister Yadavindra Goma’s Jaisinghpur, Minister Rajesh Dharmani has a lead of 13573 in Ghumarwin, Vidhan Sabha Deputy Speaker Vinay Kumar has a lead of 4485 votes in Sri Renukaji. In BJP’s former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur’s Seraj, BJP has a lead of 14698, whereas in BJP State President Rajiv Bindal’s Nahan Vidhan Sabha constituency, BJP has a lead of 7939 votes. BJP leads on seats of star campaigners Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and Yogi Adityanath visited Himachal as star campaigners, while from the Congress side Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and National President Mallikarjun Kharge along with other leaders visited. In these Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed public meetings in Nahan and Mandi Sadar. Out of these BJP got a lead of 7939 votes in Nahan and 15515 votes in Mandi. Rahul Gandhi also addressed a public meeting in Nahan, but it did not seem to benefit the Congress party. Amit Shah addressed public meetings in Dharamsala and Una. Out of these BJP got a lead of 13251 votes in Lok Sabha elections and 5526 votes in Assembly elections in Dharamsala.
