Awareness about AIDS and menstruation was created in Chail Koti College

On the occasion of International Youth Day, a special health awareness camp was organized under the joint aegis of Red Ribbon Club of Degree College Chail-Koti and Health Department Mashobra. It was presided over by Principal Dr. Deep Shikha. The Principal gave the message to the youth to stay healthy, contribute to the development of the state and the country and make people aware.
Health supervisor Mashobrasani Negi talked to the students about AIDS and said that this disease spreads through unsafe sex, infected injections, infected blood etc., not by touching or talking to someone. After AIDS infection, treatment should be done after consulting a doctor. She said that children can improve their health by taking a balanced diet. She motivated the students to stay healthy and aware themselves as well as to make others aware.
During the second special session, the supervisor of the health department talked to the students about menstruation and made them aware of the things they should keep in mind during this period. Coordinator of Red Ribbon Club, Prof. Bobija Sharma thanked the health department for organizing the successful program and requested to organize such awareness camps in future.
