Auckland House Schools Shine at CISCE Himachal Zone Inter-School Chess Championship 2025 Both Boys and Girls Teams Qualify for North Zone

Auckland House School, Shimla hosted the CISCE Himachal Pradesh Zone Inter-School Chess Championship 2025 with commendable participation from three schools: Sacred Heart High School, Sidhpur (Dharamshala), Auckland House School for Boys, and Auckland House School, Shimla (Girls).

The Auckland teams delivered a stellar performance, dominating across categories.

Auckland House School (Girls):

1st Position – Under-14

1st Position – Under-19

Auckland House School for Boys:

Won all three categories – Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19

With this outstanding display of strategy and skill, both Auckland boys and girls teams have qualified for the CISCE North Zone Chess Championship.

The tournament was held under the guidelines of FIDE and AICF, with suitable adaptations for local execution. Auckland House School provided excellent hospitality, ensuring refreshments and lunch for all participants.
