Annual award distribution function of NARAKAS chaired by SJVN
The annual official language award distribution ceremony and half-yearly meeting of the Town Official Language Implementation Committee (Narakas), Shimla (Office-2), constituted under the chairmanship of SJVN Limited, was organized today in the premises of SJVN Limited. On this occasion, Shri Chandra Shekhar Yadav , Executive Director (HR), along with Shri Kumar Pal Sharma, Joint Director (Implementation), Department of Official Language , Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India and Shri Ashish Pant , General Manager (Official Language), SJVN Limited were present.
During this meeting, the member offices were also honored with the NARAKAS Official Language Shield for their best performance in the Official Language. These awards were presented by Shri Chandra Shekhar Yadav, Executive Director (HR). Based on the number of offices, the awards were divided into three categories: Government Offices and Financial Institutions, Public Sector Undertakings, and Banks. First , second , third, and two incentive prizes were awarded in each category. The first prize was awarded to SJVN Limited, Life Insurance Corporation of India, and Punjab National Bank. The second prize went to REC, Himalayan Forest Research Institute, and Central Bank of India. The third prize went to Indian Oil Corporation Limited (Indane) , Regional Provident Fund Commissioner’s Office, and UCO Bank. Indian Oil Corporation Limited , Retail Division , Chief General Manager , Telecom Circle , New India Insurance Company , Central Public Works Department , Reserve Bank of India and Union Bank were awarded the Incentive Awards.
On this occasion, Mr. Chandra Shekhar Yadav , Executive Director (HR) , SJVN, released the fourth issue of the official language house magazine ” Him Samvad .” The magazine’s purpose is to promote the official language, Hindi, while fostering creativity and creative interest in member offices. SJVN Limited assumes full responsibility for publishing this magazine.
Chief Guest Executive Director (HR) , Shri Chandra Shekhar Yadav, in his address said that all the member offices are doing commendable work in their respective offices and they should maintain this pace and make every possible effort to complete maximum work in Hindi . Heads of the member offices of NARAKAS and senior officers of SJVN were present on this occasion.
