Announcement of science subject in Koti college dashed the hopes of people

Shimla District BJP President Prem Thakur and Kisan Morcha State Spokesperson Jitendra Bhotka in a joint statement issued on Tuesday have termed the visit of Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu to Koti as disappointing. They say that the CM has dealt a big blow to the future of the children of Junga region by not making any announcement about science subject in Government Degree College Chail Koti and the hopes of the people have been dashed. Due to the absence of science subject in this college, the children of Junga region have to go to Solan or Shimla for science subject. They said that the children of this region are not going to benefit much by starting B.Ed course in this college. Many seats are still vacant in the B.Ed colleges of the state.
He told that the previous government had opened a Patwar Circle in Satlai which was closed by Sukhu and now to take credit for this Patwar Circle, the CM has made a big joke with the people by making an announcement in Koti. Solan Peeran Thund bus service has been closed for the last two years due to which the people of Peeran and Satlai Panchayat are being greatly affected. It is surprising that neither the local MLA nor other leaders raised the issue from the stage to start this bus service. He says that the previous BJP government had provided budget for the construction of the degree college, the local MLA is raking in the praise by inaugurating it. He says that the previous government has approved a drinking water scheme of Rs 25 crore for ten panchayats of Junga area. That is, the local MLA is taking credit for the work done during the tenure of the government.
He said that on the demand of the people, former CM Jairam Thakur had opened sub-tehsils in Koti and Baldeniya, Patwar Circles in Satog and Satlai and a veterinary dispensary for Peeran. The present government has closed these as soon as it came to power, thus betraying the people of this area.
Out of 24 senior secondary schools in Kasupanti constituency, science is being taught in only four schools. During the visit to Koti, no big leader raised the issue of starting science in the schools of the area. He said that Congress is playing vote politics in Kasupanti. They get votes by giving false guarantees during elections and later forget about it.
