AIIMS Bilaspur Celebrates 76th Republic Day with Pride and Patriotism
AIIMS Bilaspur came alive with patriotic fervor on January 26, 2025, as it celebrated the 76th Republic Day with immense enthusiasm. The festivities began with the hoisting of the national flag by the institute’s Executive Director, Professor (Dr.) Veer Singh Negi, followed by the resounding national anthem, which set a tone of pride and unity across the campus.
In his motivational speech, Dr. Negi extended warm wishes to all students, faculty, and staff, highlighting AIIMS Bilaspur’s role as a beacon of medical excellence and progress. “Our institute symbolizes the aspirations of our Republic and reflects the values of a self-reliant and empowered India envisioned in our Constitution. We remain committed to providing quality healthcare, fostering groundbreaking medical research, and nurturing the next generation of healthcare leaders,” he said.
The celebration witnessed vibrant cultural performances by students from medical, paramedical, and nursing streams. Their colorful presentations showcased the rich tapestry of Indian culture and the enduring spirit of unity. Dean (Academics), Professor (Dr.) Rupali Parlewar, praised the students for their creativity and talent, emphasizing how such events help bring out the best in them. Adding a delightful touch to the celebration, children of faculty members also participated with pride, making the event even more special.
The AIIMS Bilaspur campus was beautifully adorned in tricolor hues to mark the occasion. On the eve of Republic Day, the academic and hospital buildings were illuminated with tricolor lights, creating a festive atmosphere. The event was attended by senior faculty members, including the Dean of Research and Examination, the Medical Superintendent, and the Chairman of the Cultural Committee, among others.
The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by the Dean (Academics), who appreciated the efforts of all participants, organizers, and attendees for making the celebration a resounding success. The 76th Republic Day celebration at AIIMS Bilaspur was not just an expression of unity and patriotism but also a reminder of the collective responsibilities toward building a stronger, more resilient nation.
