Aastha got third place in state level essay writing competition

Aastha Chandel, a student of Government Excellent Senior Secondary School, Chiyog, has brought laurels to her school and her parents by securing third position in the state-level essay writing competition. It may be noted that on the occasion of the golden jubilee of Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar, a state-level essay writing competition was organized by Himachal Pradesh Language and Culture Academy at Gaiety Theater yesterday in which Aastha of Chiyog School secured third position. On reaching the school on Monday, Aastha Chandel was warmly welcomed by Principal Sandeep Sharma, all the teachers and the children. On this occasion, Principal Sandeep Sharma honored Aastha by presenting her a garland and a memento.
Sandeep Sharma, while congratulating Aastha, said that participating in a state-level competition is a big deal. Participating in such programs develops self-confidence, hard work and a sense of competition in children, which proves useful in helping children reach their life goals. He said that participating in such competitions gives opportunities to hidden talents to come forward. He gave the credit of this achievement to Hindi spokesperson Vijay Laxmi. Sandeep Sharma advised other students to take inspiration from Aastha.
On this occasion the school staff, non-teaching staff and all the students were present and everyone congratulated Aastha for this achievement.
