AAP exposes plight of the schools of CM and ministers’ through pictures and videos
State President of Aam Aadmi Party, Surjit Singh Thakur, by showing photos and videos through PPT in a press conference in this capital Thursday, alarmed Chief Minister Jai Ram and his cabinet ministers about the condition of the poor and dilapidated schools in the areas. During this, Surjit Thakur said that the condition of the schools in Siraj, the home district of the Chief Minister himself, is worst. The buildings are in delipated condition. in some have no arrangement for drinking water for the children and there are no clean toilets
He said that when the Chief Minister and the Minister could not improve the condition of the schools in their Assembly segment, how would be the condition of the schools of the entire state should need to be improve. What has been done by Jairam Goverment in the field of education in the last four and a half years, it is in front of the public and has been completely exposed in front of the public.
Surjit Thakur said that there are 14 lakh children in the state, out of which 8.5 lakh are studying in government schools and 5.5 lakh in private schools. But the government it is playing with the future of 8.5 lakh children. There are more than 2000 schools in the state where there is only one teacher teacher and there are 722 schools where there is only one room.
Referring to last year’s figures, he said that there were 55 schools in Himachal where even a single child could not clear the board examination. AAP proved that the quality of education to children need reforms . He said that Congress ruled for 30 years while BJP ruled for 20 years and not a turned single stone ruining the education system during both tenure.
