A seminar on women empowerment organized by SFI Sanjauli

A seminar on women empowerment was organized by the SFI Sanjauli unit on the occasion of International Women’s Day. In which the main speaker was Shimla District President Comrade Akhil Manta.

Through this seminar, the college students were made aware of the incidents happening with women at the national and international levels. Also, the president spoke to the students on the importance, history, and women empowerment of the women’s movement. Through the seminar, the students were told about all the incidents that had happened to women in the recent past. We saw how two women were paraded naked on the road in Manipur, how a woman was tied to a car and dragged for 17 km in Delhi, and how a woman who was a wrestling player faced physical harassment.
