A race against drugs, will work on environmental protection: Edwards Association

 Edwards School organized a race against drugs, with Edwards Association President Rajiv Sood as the keynote speaker. The race started from the High Court and ended at the school grounds, with approximately 150 participants.

Association President Rajiv Sood said that Edwards School completed its 100th anniversary on March 9th, 2025, and since then, the school has organized numerous events, primarily football, cricket, basketball, and running competitions. Edwards School launched a campaign against drug abuse to mark its 100th anniversary, as it is our duty to educate the youth about the dangers of drug abuse in today’s society. Only trained youth can fight against drug abuse, and this campaign is strengthened through running and sports.

He said that St. Edward’s School has also organized numerous programs related to environmental protection. Keeping the environment healthy and safe is another major agenda we are working on. The school has created numerous items from waste products, and children are being trained as ambassadors for recycling.

Rajiv informed that the Edward’s Association is organizing numerous events from October 11th to 13th to mark the 100th anniversary. A car rally will be held tomorrow, starting from the school’s campus to the Naldehra Golf Course. 315 delegates will participate, including many from Tamil Nadu, Delhi, the United States, Chicago, New York, Goa, and Chennai. A golf tournament will also be held after the car rally.

Justice Deepak Gupta was a special guest at the event.
