A one day blood donation camp organised

On 23rd March, 2024, a one-day blood donation camp was jointly organized by the Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI), Students Federation of India (SFI), CITU and All India Advocates Union (AILU) at Seri Manch. This blood donation camp was organized on the occasion of Martyrdom Day in memory of Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru ji, who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the country on 23rd March, 1931.

Through this blood donation camp, an appeal was made to the youth to come forward to build the India of the dreams of these immortal martyrs and contribute to building a better country and society by showing unity to increase humanity and communalism in the country by staying away from social evils like drug addiction and religious violence. Speaking on this occasion, Naujavan Sabha State President Suresh Sarwal, CITU District Secretary Rajesh Kumar, SFI District Secretary Deepak, All India Advocates Union Mandi Secretary Povinder said that despite being the youngest country in the world, today the youth of our country is a victim of unemployment due to the neo-liberal policies of the government. Due to which sometimes they are getting into the grip of drugs and sometimes they are engaged in harming the country by getting involved in religious and caste conflicts by falling into the trap of politicians. In such a situation, all the youth need to take a pledge on this day that they will establish their unity on employment or other such aspects by keeping distance from drugs and religious frenzy so that pressure can be created on the people sitting in power in the country and the discussion of the country’s politics can be brought back to the basic issues like unemployment, hunger and poverty.

People participated enthusiastically in this blood donation camp and donated blood. About 35 units of blood were collected on this occasion. All the people who made the event a success were thanked.
