50 patients were examined in Ayushman Arogya Camp in Peeran
Ayushman Arogya Camp was successfully organized under the leadership of Medical Officer Dr. Ishan at Anganwadi Center of Peeran courtesy of Health and Family Welfare Department, Trahai. A large number of villagers attended this camp and more than 50 people got their health checked in the camp.
Dr. Ishaan said that free diagnostic services for blood pressure and diabetes were provided to the people in the camp. Earlier, many people, who were not aware of these diseases, were examined and diagnosed in time. Blood pressure and diabetes patients were given necessary medicines free of cost, so that they can start treatment on time and avoid further complications.
Dr. Ishan and his team motivated the people present to improve their lifestyle, have a balanced diet, exercise regularly and follow regular health checkups. The importance of early detection of blood pressure and diabetes was also explained. He said that such camps are regularly organized in rural areas under the Ayushman Arogya Mandir Yojana, so that essential health services can reach people. This initiative helps people in rural areas to get basic facilities like health checkups, essential medicines and consultation nearby, so that there is no additional burden on their pockets.
A lot of enthusiasm was seen among the villagers who came to the camp and people appreciated this effort of the government and the health department. People said that such camps should be organized from time to time so that the people of the rural area, especially the elderly and women, can become healthy and aware.
