Since starting his journey here in 1984, Bhagirath has been more than a server—he has been a familiar face, a gentle host, and a keeper of memories. Over the years, his hands have poured coffee for personalities ranging from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and former Deputy Prime Minister Lal Krishna Advani to Himachal’s political stalwarts like Dr. Y.S. Parmar, Virbhadra Singh, and current Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. Even actor Anupam Kher has shared a warm conversation over a cup prepared by Bhagirath.

Born in 1968 into a modest family in Solan district’s Badog village, Bhagirath began working at the coffee house during challenging times. By 1986, he became a permanent employee—and for 42 years, his dedication never wavered. His neat appearance, consistent warmth, and genuine care for everyone who walked in made him the heart of this beloved institution.
