It has stated earlier that prices of apple, Tomato and capcicum have felled down drastically due to monopolies of big corporate houses in the market and glutting of markets and falling down of demands of fruit and vegetables due to Covid restrictions and increasing the transportation and cost of productions due to high inflations and skyrocketing prices of fuelsin the North Indian Markets.
There are reports that farmers are suffering heavy losses in the market as governments are helping the Big corporate housesto ensure their monopolies. The big baskets are controlling the high grades apple and fruit however since the most of crops are not of high grades.
The inclement weather conditions are played spoilsports with the apple growers as the most of the crop is lower than of medium size.
