If Sukhu wanted to protest against EC he should resign first: Jairam

Addressing a public meeting at Chaura Maidan after the Save Constitution-Remove Anarchy march, former Chief Minister and Leader of the Opposition Jai Ram Thakur sarcastically said that the Congress prince Rahul Gandhi and Congress leaders have lost their mental balance due to the relentless defeats across the country. That is why they have forgotten all decorum and resorted to using derogatory language against the Prime Minister. Initially, it was only Rahul Gandhi who was crossing the limits, but now the entire Congress party has resorted to such derogatory language out of desperation. They are forgetting that the countrymen love Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They will respond to every insult with their votes and will also teach him a lesson by taking to the streets.

Jairam Thakur said that even Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has taken a crowd from here and is claiming that votes are being stolen. It is beyond comprehension how he can do this. Sukhu himself came to power by stealing votes in the name of guarantees to form a government and is now protesting against the same commission. He should resign from his post before doing so. He is misusing the state’s resources to spread anarchy. He is engaging in such activities to appease Rahul Gandhi. The state’s resources should be used for the state’s interests, but he is using them to spread anarchy.

Jairam Thakur said that the Congress is accusing the government of vote theft, but since 1967, it has been wiped out from every corner of the country. It has been absent from Bengal since 1977. It has been wiped out from Uttar Pradesh since 1989. It has been absent from Bihar since 1990. It has been wiped out from Gujarat since 1995. It has been wiped out from Odisha since 1999. When the Congress has no votes, where is the theft coming from? The country has rejected the Congress. Rahul Gandhi and his group, who want to turn India’s sacred land into Nepal, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka with foreign assistance, are forgetting that this is India.
