Strong Willpower Drives Development, Not Social Media Statements: Anirudh

Junga Hospital to Get Ambulance, Driver; CBSE Classes at School from Next Session

Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Aniruddh Singh said that development never happens by making statements on Facebook, but rather requires strong willpower and work on the ground. He was addressing the cultural evening of the district-level Dussehra fair in Junga as the chief guest. During this, he made various announcements related to the development of the area and said that the state government is committed to strengthening education, health and road facilities in the Junga area.
Responding to the ongoing discussion regarding the ambulance donated by a BJP MP to Junga Civil Hospital, the minister said that when the ambulance was provided, it should have been accompanied by a driver. He added that the BJP is now demanding a driver from the government. He assured that the state government will provide the ambulance and a driver to Junga Hospital.
It is noteworthy that the driver posted at Junga Civil Hospital has been on deputation to the Super Specialty Hospital in Chamyana for the past several months. Meanwhile, the ambulance donated to the hospital by MP Harsh Mahajan is not being used due to the lack of a driver. This issue has also sparked political debate in the area.
The Minister announced that classes under the CBSE curriculum would begin at Government Senior Secondary School, Junga, from the next academic session. He said this would provide better educational opportunities to students in the area.
He also spoke about the division of Junga Panchayat and the formation of a new Panchayat for Old Junga. The Minister stated that after the formation of the new Panchayat, work will be undertaken toward the construction of a Panchayat house. The plan is to construct a grand building at a cost of approximately 14 lakh rupees.
The Minister stated that healthcare facilities at Civil Hospital Junga have been expanded during the current government’s tenure. Various facilities, including ultrasound and eye examination and treatment equipment, have been provided at the hospital. He added that the people of the area are also receiving the services of specialist doctors. Efforts will also be made to soon open an operation theater (OT) at the hospital. This will reduce the need for people in the area to visit other hospitals for treatment.
He said that the overall development of the entire Sumtiri Assembly constituency is being ensured. He reported that approximately 100 roads have been approved under the Forest Rights Act (FRA) and their construction will soon be underway. He announced that a fire station will also be opened soon in Junga. He directed the administration to select land for this station.
Earlier, Kartikeswar Sharma, Chairman of the local fair committee and Tehsildar Junga, welcomed the chief guest. He honored the minister by presenting him with a cap, a shawl, and a memento. Chief Minister’s Advisor Gopal Sharma, along with officials from various departments, officers, and other dignitaries were present at the event.
