180 Patients Screened at Ayushman Arogya Camp in Koti

The Health Department organized an Ayushman Arogya Camp at the Community Health Center (CHC) Koti. Specialist doctors examined the health of 180 patients at the camp. The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Yashpal Ranta, Chief Medical Officer, Shimla.
On this occasion, Dr. Yashpal Ranta said that special medical camps will be organized periodically in remote areas of the district to provide rural residents with better healthcare facilities closer to their homes. Dr. Rakesh Goyal, Block Medical Officer, Mashobra, was also present on the occasion.
Medical Incharge CHC Koti Dr. Nikita Soham said that during the camp, health check-ups were conducted on 180 patients. Of these, X-rays were done on 18 patients, while blood sugar and blood pressure of 154 people were checked. Sputum samples were taken from eight people. In addition, health check-ups of 22 children, 10 CYTP tests and 12 HB tests were conducted. Eye check-ups of 100 people were also conducted at the camp. She said that after the check-ups, free medicines were distributed to the patients.
In the camp, Pediatrician Dr. Prashant Sharma, Gynecologist Dr. Sonika, Ophthalmologist Dr. Garima, Dental Surgeon Dr. Bhim, ENT Specialist Dr. Parul and Dr. Devanand provided expert medical services to the patients.
