Principal Banwari Lal Keshav retires after 31 years of dedicated service

After serving the education department for nearly 31 years, Principal Banwari Lal Keshav of Government Senior Secondary School Mashobra retired yesterday. On the occasion of his retirement, a farewell and felicitation ceremony was organized in the school premises. During this, Principal Banwari Lal Keshav and his wife Meena Devi were honored by the school family by presenting them Himachali cap, shawl and memento. After this, a feast was also organized by the school family.
Recalling his career, Banwari Lal Keshav said that he began his service as an economics lecturer at the Government Senior Secondary School, Bahadurgarh, Kangra, in 1995. He was promoted to the position of principal in 2018. During his long career, he served in various schools in Shimla district, including Baragaon, Dayol, Cheyog, Kohbagh, Garhkufri, Dhali Ghaini, Patgaihar, and Mashobra.
Originally from the Bhoranj area of ​​Hamirpur district, Banwari Lal Keshav spent most of his service in Shimla district. He said that during his service, he received constant support and affection from officials in the education department, as well as from principals and staff members of various schools, a feeling he will never forget.
On this occasion, Mashobra Block Sports Incharge Nandlal Sharma said that Banwari Lal Keshav was not only an ideal teacher but also a kind-hearted and simple person. He added that his contributions to the field of education and his efforts to shape the future of students will long be remembered. The school family bid him a heartfelt farewell, wishing him a healthy, happy, and successful retirement.
