Peeran and Mashobra won the title in yoga in the final of Kho Kho

On the second day of the Under-14 Boys and Girls Sports Competition, being held at the Government Senior Secondary School, Durgapur, in the Mashobra Education Block, students performed brilliantly in various sports and cultural events. The players were extremely enthusiastic about the competition.
Sports in-charge Nandlal Sharma said that in the march past competition, Government Senior Secondary School Baldeniya took first place and Mashobra School took second place. Government Senior Secondary School Peeran won the Kho-Kho title in both the boys and girls categories.
In the yoga competition, Government Senior Secondary School Mashobra came first in both the boys and girls categories, while Baldeniya School took second place. In the judo competition, Mashobra took first place and Baldeniya took second place.
Students also displayed their talent brilliantly in cultural competitions. RPS Baldeniya came first in folk dance and HD School Janedghat came second. HD School Janedghat came first in classical music solo and Durgapur Vidyalaya came second. RPS Baldeniya came first in group singing and MPS Mashobra came second. Mashobra came first and Baldeniya came second in one act play.
Principal and Managing Secretary Ashwani Kumar stated that the sports competitions are running smoothly, and the players are showing great enthusiasm for the games. He added that Om Prakash Thakur, District Council member of the Baldeniya ward, will attend the closing ceremony on August 30th, as the chief guest. Tara Dutt, Chairman of the Panchayat Committee, Mashobra, and Manvindra Singh, Director of Aruma Valley, will be present as special guests.
