A delegation from Junga Panchayat paid a courtesy call on the Rural Development Minister

A delegation from the Junga Gram Panchayat, led by Pradhan Ramlal, paid a courtesy call on Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Anirudh Singh at his office. The delegation apprised the Minister of various developmental problems facing the Junga Panchayat and demanded additional financial assistance to address them. The delegation included Deputy Pradhan Ishwar Dutt Sharma, ward members Yogmaya Sharma, Urmil, Rekha, Ramesh, and Ajay.
Pradhan Ramlal told the minister that Junga is no longer limited to a village, but is rapidly developing into a town. The growing population and activity in the area is placing additional financial burden on the Panchayat for the development and maintenance of sanitation, roads, drains, and other basic amenities.
He stated that due to the Panchayat’s limited sources of income, sufficient funds are not available for Junga’s comprehensive and planned development. He urged the Minister to provide additional funds to the Panchayat for the development of Junga town, improved sanitation, and the provision of essential amenities to its citizens.
The Rural Development Minister assured the Panchayat representatives that lack of funds would not hinder the all-round development of Junga. He assured the Panchayat of all possible support and assistance. He also urged the Panchayat representatives to develop new and sustainable sources of income at the Panchayat level, so that the Panchayat can become economically strong and self-reliant.
