Langar Seva organised at IGMC Cancer Hospital on Rahul Gandhi’s birthday
To mark the birthday of Rahul Gandhi, former President of the Indian National Congress and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, a langar service was organized today at the Cancer Hospital of Indira Gandhi Medical College (IGMC), Shimla. Food was distributed to patients undergoing treatment at the hospital and their families, and wishes were expressed for their good health and speedy recovery.
On this occasion, Vinod Zinta, Organization General Secretary of the Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee, said that Rahul Gandhi has always strongly championed the cause of the poor, the deprived, and the needy. Organizing social service events on his birthday further strengthens the Congress Party’s spirit of public service.
Many Congress workers including State Congress Committee Vice President (Administration) Amit Nanda, OSD Protocol Himachal Government Saurabh Chauhan, Political Secretary Vikas Kalta, Pradeep Surya, Sonia Chauhan, Yashpal Tanaik, Satish Rathore, Akshat Nanda, Virendra Sharma were present in this program.
