JUIT Students Plant Hope on Earth Day in Himachal
On April 22, 2026, the Environment, Ecology and Health Club of JYC JUIT marked World Earth Day with a heartfelt tree plantation drive. At 11:00 am, faculty coordinators Prof. Poonam Sharma, Dr. Ashok Kumar Nadda, and Dr. Rishi Rana joined hands with student leaders Aditya and Aryan to lead the initiative.
A total of 50 enthusiastic students took part, each planting saplings as a symbol of their commitment to protecting the planet. The drive wasn’t just about greenery—it was about remembering the deep connection between a healthy environment and human well-being.
By coming together, the students and faculty celebrated Earth Day not as a date on the calendar, but as a reminder that small actions—like planting a tree—can grow into lasting change for the future.
