SDM expressed gratitude to all sections for the successful organization of Rajgarh Baisakhi fair

144 artists spread their unique charm in all the three cultural evenings

Rajgarh SDM and Fair Committee Chairman Rajkumar Thakur congratulated the people of the area on the successful and peaceful conduct of the district-level Baisakhi Fair. He expressed gratitude to the people of Rajgarh, the Chamber of Commerce, the local Nagar Panchayat, all officials of the Fair Committee, officers and employees of various departments, advertisers, and all those who directly or indirectly contributed to the successful organization of the fair. He stated that this traditional fair is celebrated with the cooperation of the people, for the entertainment of the people, and to please the area’s revered deity, Shirgul Devta. The SDM also thanked the police and Home Guard personnel for maintaining peace and order at the fair.
SDM Rajkumar Thakur said that like previous years, this year too a total of 144 local and state artists and local educational institutions were given the opportunity to present cultural programmes. In which, on the first cultural evening of the fair on 14th April, 54 artists and local schools displayed their unique art. While on the second cultural evening on 15th April, 45 artists displayed their art and in the last cultural evening of the fair also 45 artists displayed their art. He said that all the three cultural evenings of the fair were super hit and thousands of spectators who came from different areas to enjoy them kept dancing in the pandal till 10 pm, that is, people liked the cultural programme very much.
