The Principal of Chiyog School arranged a free tour for three meritorious students

Principal Sandeep Sharma, at his own expense, arranged a tour of Chandigarh’s surrounding cities and tourist destinations for three meritorious students of the Government Senior Secondary School of Excellence. It is worth noting that in order to inculcate interest in studies among children, Principal Sandeep Sharma has been organizing tours of various cities at his own expense for the past five years for students securing first positions in classes 6th to 12th. He also arranges air travel for students securing first positions in classes 9th to 12th.
In the first round of this year’s tour, Principal Sandeep Sharma, at his own expense, arranged a free tour of Chandigarh, Rock Garden, Sukhna Lake, Pushpa Gujral, Science City Kapurthala, Dina Park, Chhatvir, etc. for three meritorious students of Chiyog School who had secured first positions in Classes 6th to 8th. The students included Palak, Aditya, and Vaishali.
During this three-day trip, the students were shown several inspirational films. The Principal arranged for two nights of accommodation for these students in a five-star restaurant. The Principal is running several programs from his educational fund to foster a competitive spirit among students. Parents and the school management committee expressed their gratitude to the Principal for this unique initiative. They say that such student-friendly programs have awakened a competitive spirit among students and have generated a greater interest in education.
