Chiyog School celebrated Science and Mathematics Day with great enthusiasm
Under the National Invention Campaign Scheme, Science and Mathematics Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the cluster level at the Government Senior Secondary School, Chiyog. The purpose of celebrating this day is to generate interest in science and mathematics among children. Students from Government Senior Secondary School, Chiyog, Government High School, Dadas, Government Secondary School, Dhaleu, and Government Central Primary School, Chiyog, created models of science and mathematics and organized an exhibition. Olympiads and quiz competitions were also held in science and mathematics. In the senior category of model making, ninth-grade student Vaishali secured first place, while ninth-grade student Prerna secured second place, and tenth-grade student Kashish secured third place. In the junior category of model making, Arnav of Government Senior Secondary School, Chiyog secured first place, Ishani of Dhaleu School secured second place, and Siddharth of Government High School, Dadas secured third place. Similarly, in the Mathematics Olympiad, Prerna from sixth grade, Palak from seventh grade, Aditya from eighth grade, and Vaishali from ninth grade secured first place. In the Science Olympiad, Ishika from sixth grade, Kushagra from seventh grade, Aditya Negi from eighth grade, and Prerna from ninth grade secured first place.
On this occasion, Principal Sandeep Kumar Sharma awarded prizes to all participants, and Suryansh, a fifth-grade student of Primary School Chiyog, was presented with an incentive award. Addressing the students, Sandeep Sharma said that today is the era of science and mathematics, so all students should forget their fear of mathematics and science and develop an interest in these subjects. He added that in the future, competitions related to all subjects will be held sequentially at the cluster level in schools to uncover the hidden talents within students. The Principal expressed his gratitude to all the teachers and students of Sangam School and the local school for the successful organization of the program.
