Four children from Janedghat secured excellent positions in the Sanskrit Olympiad
The third national-level Sanskrit Olympiad Competition 2025 was organized in January last year, courtesy of the Central Sanskrit University, Delhi, and the results were recently announced. Four students from the Government Senior Secondary School, Janedghat, achieved top positions in the state, bringing glory to the school and the region.
School Principal Dr. Sohan Ranta stated that students from classes 6th to 8th of Government Senior Secondary School, Janedghat, were also registered online for this competition. This competition was organized class-wise. Sixth-grade student Angel secured first place in Himachal Pradesh. Sixth-grade student Dhairya Thakur secured second place in the state, and Nikhil secured third place. Similarly, eighth-grade student Abhishek secured third place in the state.
Dr. Sohan Ranta congratulated Sanskrit teacher Ravindra Kumar Shastri and all the students who took part in the examination for this achievement and encouraged them to participate enthusiastically in all upcoming competitions. The Principal stated that the students of Janedghat School play a leading role in every field. Along with academics, all kinds of activities are organized from time to time under the guidance of qualified teachers to ensure the all-round development of the children. Sanskrit teacher Ravindra Kumar Shastri stated that Sanskrit is not only viewed as a necessary subject in our school, but is also taught through various activities, games, and songs.
