Two girl students of Janedghat, Kavya and Saanvi, passed the NMMS exam

Two girl students of Government Senior Secondary School, Janedghat, have brought laurels to the school and the region by clearing the tough National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) examination. School Principal Dr. Sohan Ranta said that in November last year, four girl students of Class 8 of this school had appeared in the NMMS examination, out of which two students, Kavya Sharma and Saanvi Thakur, have brought laurels to the school by clearing the examination.
He stated that these two promising students will receive an annual scholarship of 12,000 rupees (one thousand rupees per month) from grade 9 to 12. The principal stated that both students come from rural backgrounds and actively participate in school activities in addition to their academics.
It’s worth noting that Sanvi Thakur hails from Shilai village, near Janedghat. Her father, Sandeep Kumar, and mother, Meena Kumari, come from a simple farming family. Similarly, Kavya Sharma hails from Dudraj village, where her father, Narendra Sharma, and mother, Sangeeta Sharma, also come from a simple farming family.
Dr. Sohan Ranta has given his best wishes to both the students and their parents on behalf of the school and wished both the students a bright future.
