Despite Congress representation in Kasumpti for 25 years, the people of Juggar are thirsty : BJP

Despite the Congress party’s continuous representation in the Kasupanti constituency for the past 25 years, the people of Juggar village are still yearning for drinking water. This allegation was made in a joint statement by Kasupanti BJP leader and Saksham Gudiya Board Vice-President Rupa Sharma, former BJP Mandal President Jitendra Bhotka, Shashank Atri and several other BJP officials. They said that it is surprising that despite having a cabinet minister from Kasupanti, a drinking water scheme has not been developed for Juggar village till date, whereas Aniruddh Singh has been the MLA from this constituency for the past three consecutive terms. The question arises whether the MLA is unaware of the problems of this village.
Rupa Sharma and Jitendra Bhotka stated that under the Jal Jeevan Mission, the central government has generously allocated funds to provide tap water to every household in the state. Despite this, the government has failed to provide water to people at home. Under the Jal Jeevan Mission, the Water Power Department is responsible for providing water to every household.
They say that if the government and the department have a positive attitude, a good plan could be developed for Juggar village, which has a population of 135. The JSV department itself is helpless. One JE is responsible for seven sections. How can the drinking water problem faced by the people be solved? Elderly people like Buddhi Singh and Khayali Ram have spent their entire lives carrying water. This suggests that there is no such thing as government in the state. During elections, Congress representatives make false promises and take votes from the people, only to forget everything later.
Kasumpti BJP has demanded from Sukhu government that a survey should be conducted for drinking water and irrigation scheme for Juggar village and a water lift scheme should be prepared for this village from Nalatdi Khad so that the drinking water problem of this village can be permanently solved.
