Chail Koti College won three medals in Taekwondo Championship
Players from Degree College Chail-Koti brought honor to the college by winning one silver and two bronze medals in the Inter-College Taekwondo Championship. Upon arrival at the college on Monday, the Principal and other staff members welcomed the players with garlands and congratulated them on their achievement.
Principal Dr. Deepshikha Bhardwaj reported that the Inter-College Taekwondo Championship recently concluded at RKMV, Shimla. For the first time, athletes from the college won medals in an inter-college sports competition. She explained that Uday Kumar won a silver medal, while Bhavna and Ayush won bronze medals in their respective categories. Their performances have brought recognition to the college and encouraged other students to participate in sports activities. She explained that the athletes were trained by Professor Harinder Thakur for this competition. The students’ hard work and concentration helped them perform with confidence in this event. Dr. Bhardwaj wished them success in future competitions and encouraged more students to participate in sports alongside their studies.
