Nandlal Sharma will represent India in the Asian Athletics Championships

Nandlal Sharma, a physical education teacher at Government Model Senior Secondary School, Mashobra, will represent India in the 23rd Asian Master Athletics Championship to be held at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Chennai from November 5 to 9. Nandlal Sharma’s selection has created a wave of happiness not only in the entire Mashobra area but also in the state’s sports association and he is receiving congratulatory messages on his phone. Nandlal Sharma will represent India as a player in long jump and triple jump in the 45 to 50 years age group in the Asian Master Athletics Championship to be held in Chennai.
In a special interview, Nandlal Sharma explained that participating in the Asian Games requires a special process. He participated in the state-level athletics competition in Solan, where he was selected for the national athletics competition held in Dharamshala. His outstanding performance at the national level athletics competition earned him selection for the Asian Masters Athletics Championship, a matter of pride for the state.
Nandlal Sharma holds an MPhil in Physical Education and is an NIS-qualified volleyball coach. Nandlal Sharma has a distinct reputation throughout the state as an exemplary physical education teacher, dedicated to his work and not just hardworking. During his career, he has coached countless children in various sports, taking them to the national level.
Mashobra School Principal Dr. Anita Gupta, SMC President Umashankar, parents, all teachers, and the local Panchayat congratulated Nandlal Sharma on his selection for the Asian Games. The Principal said that Nandlal Sharma’s selection has brought glory not only to the school but also to the state.
