Hindi festival celebrated in Degree College Chail Koti
To promote the official language, Hindi, the Hindi Department of Degree College, Chail-Koti, organized a Hindi festival. On this occasion, various activities including essay writing, poster making, slogan writing, poetry recitation, and speech competitions were held. Sakshi Sharma won first place in the speech competition, Nitika second, and Oshin third. Diksha won first place in poetry recitation, Simran second, and Aman Thakur third. Mehak won first place in the essay competition, and Diksha Thakur second. Aanchal Sharma, Abitha, and Mehak Sharma won first, second, and third places respectively in poster making. Riya won first place in slogan writing, Monica second, and Neha Thakur third. The program began with the lighting of a lamp by the Principal. He highlighted the Hindi language and each of us’s individual contributions to its promotion.
Earlier, Hindi professor Dr. Bobija highlighted the importance of Hindi Day and the official language, Hindi, and emphasized the importance of fostering a friendly attitude toward all languages. The Principal distributed prizes to the winners. The program was conducted by Aditi, a second-year BA student.
