In terms of financial help, Government of India has stood with Himachal : Nadda

BJP National President and Union Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda’s visit to Himachal Pradesh was important. The National President visited those areas of Mandi district of the state where heavy rains caused huge damage, areas like Nachan, Pangliyur, Baga, Sainj, Thunag are very important. Jagat Prakash Nadda has a deep bond with Himachal, he is a son of Himachal Pradesh and he is continuously performing his duty. Nadda has been a minister in Himachal Pradesh and has also worked on various posts in the organization, after that today Nadda is the National President of BJP as well as a Union Minister. During his visit, Nadda met people who have lost 100% of their houses and land and also people who lost their parents during this tragedy. An example of this is Pushp Raj and Tilak Raj of Nachan Assembly constituency. During this, Jagat Prakash Nadda also visited the camps where the affected people are living.

Whenever there was a tragedy in Himachal Pradesh, BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda visited Himachal Pradesh continuously.

On this occasion, BJP National President and Union Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda said that if any political party has worked to provide relief to the people first, then it is the BJP. The entire state has contributed to this relief work. Various service centers are running with the help of the people and the BJP, being in the forefront, has collected food, shelter, daily necessities at a rapid pace and has provided them to the affected people.

Jagat Prakash Nadda said that if we talk about relief, then the Government of India is always ready for this work, in terms of financial help, the Government of India has stood with Himachal Pradesh in the past and will stand with it in the future too.

Recalling 2023, the BJP National President said that at that time there was a tragedy in Mandi and Kullu and I had come to Himachal Pradesh three times, I remember that at that time we had provided relief of 3146 crores to Himachal Pradesh through the Central Government. Even now, for rehabilitation, the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has released 2006 crores for Himachal Pradesh under NDRF, if we add this, then the total becomes 5152 crores. Talking from the economic point of view, as help, the Central Government has given more than 1 lakh houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, more than 3000 crores of roads under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana to Himachal.

Nadda said that the people of Himachal should be assured that the Government of India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi will never abandon Himachal Pradesh and will always stand with it. And being a representative of the central government, I am saying it with responsibility that the Government of India is standing with Himachal and will continue to do so in the future too.
