High command will decide who should be handed over the reins of Congress in Himachal: Pratibha

State Congress President and former MP Pratibha Singh has said that she has worked very strongly for the Congress organization in the state in the past and will continue to do so in the future as well.
Reacting to the completion of her three-year term as the state Congress president and the news of the new state president being published in the media, Pratibha Singh said that it is in the jurisdiction of the high command to decide who should hand over the reins of the organization in the state, but she has successfully completed her term. She said that the Congress government in the state has been formed due to the tireless efforts of the party workers and they should be respected at every level.
Pratibha Singh has said that late Virbhadra Singh never gave any place to regionalism or factionalism in the state during his tenure. She said that today she feels that we are straying from his path somewhere. She said that in time we will have to rise above any politics and move forward while respecting the sentiments of the party workers. She said that Congress is in a very strong position in the state. People have a lot of expectations from the Congress government and we will have to live up to those expectations.
Pratibha Singh has said that even today people remember the work of the state’s six-time Chief Minister late Virbhadra Singh. Expressing gratitude to the people of the state, she has said that Holy Lodge will always follow the path shown by Virbhadra Singh and share the pain and suffering of the people of the state and walk on the path of removing it. She said that she does not crave for any post but whatever responsibility the high command has given her till date, she has never backed out from it. In future also, whatever responsibility the party high command will give her, she will fulfill it with full devotion and honesty as before. She has expressed hope that the party high command will soon form the PCC and put an end to the discussions going on in the media regarding the Congress organization in the state.
