Sneha got first place in slogan writing and Hrithik in painting

Various competitions were organized on the occasion of Earth Day in Government Senior Secondary School Balg. In which Sneha got first place and Vanshika got second place in slogan writing competition and Hrithik got first place and Tanvi got second place in painting competition. Thus Vivekanand House got first place and Tagore House got second place in junior and senior class of quiz competition. While presiding over the program, Principal Ramesh gave suggestions to the students to make the earth green and pollution free. He said that it is the moral duty of every person to protect the environment. He urged the children to spread the message of environmental protection to every home.
Before this, Eco Club in-charge Saroj Bala gave detailed information to the students about the 5Fs related to environment i.e. Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Recover. On this occasion, the children cleaned the school premises. Apart from all the teachers and non-teaching staff of the school, the children also participated enthusiastically in the program.
