New school room should not be built in the playground: Kapil
A new room is being constructed by the school management committee in the playground of Government Senior Secondary School Rajgarh, which is being opposed by the local people including the vice-president of Nagar Panchayat Kapil Thakur and a complaint letter regarding this has also been submitted by them to SDM Rajgarh.
Kapil Thakur, while giving information to the media, said that there is already a proper arrangement of rooms in the Government Senior Secondary School, Rajgarh. According to the information, many rooms are lying vacant in the school building, which are not being used for school work. Despite this, a new room is being constructed by the SMC in the school ground. They say that after the construction of the new room, the playground for the children will become even smaller, whereas this playground is already too small for the sports activities of the children. Kapil Thakur says that the Principal and SMC are misusing government funds. Local people say that if the school management had to get the room constructed, then the room could have been constructed on a suitable selected land. People opposed this and said that after Nehru ground in the entire Nagar Panchayat Rajgarh, this is the only ground which is more than 50 years old, which is being dug by the school for a one-storey room. In this matter, local senior citizens say that years ago we had given this ground to the school for a playground, whose type is still recorded as a playground in the revenue records. SDM Rajgarh, Raj Kumar Thakur said that the principal of the school should take necessary action after taking a logical decision keeping in mind all the facts and aspects.
