Congress was wiped out for the third time in a row in Delhi Assembly elections

Reacting to the statement of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, BJP State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal said that the statement of the Chief Minister is beyond the truth, ridiculous and a mockery of the interests of the state. He said that by commenting on an important medical institute like All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Bilaspur, the Chief Minister has proved that he has nothing to do with the health of the people of Himachal. The institute which was given by the ministry of Jagat Prakash Nadda ji and Jagat Prakash Nadda and Hamirpur MP Anurag Thakur are constantly concerned about, instead of taking that institute forward, it is irresponsible to comment on it. Similarly, for the first time in the history of Himachal, the expansion of railways has started by the Narendra Modi government and the railway has reached Bilaspur, the Sukhu government is trying to take false credit for that railway project, while the state government is creating obstacles in taking this work forward at a fast pace, which is a mockery of the interests of the people of Himachal. Dr. Bindal said that the Congress, which came to power by deceiving the unemployed youth of the state, is today busy spending its time abusing the BJP. In the first cabinet, the youth were cheated by guaranteeing one lakh government jobs and 5 lakh jobs, and in two and a quarter years, no job, no employment, the Congress government is only and only cursing the BJP, this is condemnable. Dr. Bindal said that the Congress has been wiped out for the third consecutive time in the Delhi Assembly elections, contesting 70 seats and failing to win a single seat. Despite an increase in its vote share, the party’s performance was disappointing, with candidates forfeiting their deposits in 67 constituencies. While the party’s vote share saw a marginal increase from 4.26 per cent in 2020 to 6.4 per cent this year, it still remained far from gaining any meaningful representation in the Assembly. Out of the 70 seats, the Congress managed to save its deposit in just three – Badli, Kasturba Nagar and Nangloi Jat. The forfeiture of deposits on all the seats of the Congress party in the elections of Delhi province is an open message to the Congress of Himachal Pradesh and to the government that the intentions and policies of the Congress are anti-people, hence the governments formed on the basis of lies in the three states of the country will also not remain in the next elections.
