Digital financial awareness program organized in Junga

 A one day digital financial awareness program, camp on digital banking and cashless transactions was organized in the auditorium of Panchayat Office Junga, courtesy of Himachal Pradesh State Cooperative Bank Limited, Junga Branch. Bank Manager Vishal Sharma gave detailed information to the villagers about NEFT, RTGS, IMPS etc. facilities and BHIM, Himpaisa App. In this program, information was given about various schemes being run by State Cooperative Bank, Central Government, State Government and NABARD such as Small Savings Scheme, Basic Saving Deposit, Account Scheme, Recurring Deposit, Term Deposit, PMJDY, etc. deposit schemes, Kisan Credit Card, PMEGP, MMSY, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Him Swarojgar Credit Card Scheme etc. loan schemes and Atal Pension Scheme etc. social security schemes.
He explained to the villagers about the formation of self-help groups, their management and their loans. Apart from this, he also informed about the schemes being run by the bank like Sashakt Mahila Loan Yojana, Sapno Ka Sanchay, etc. He advised not to share any type of PIN or OTP of the bank account with anyone. In this program, members of Junga’s SHG and dignitaries like Gauri Dutt, Rambhaj Sharma, Gulab Singh Thakur, Padmanand Sharma, Shanti Devi, Lalita Devi, Vijender, Rajesh Kaushal and Pankaj and Kamal Kishore from the bank were present.
