Weekend-Tourists make beeline to queen of hills

Tourist were coming in large numbers to this queen of hills as large number of vehicles entering the state.
Superintendent of police Shimla Mr Mohit Chawla said that in past 30 hours as many  7357 vehicles entered in Shimla counted at  Shoghi barrier to Shimla. 
He said that owing to construction on some places in the town it is causing congestion however number of tourist vehicle  are increasing in Shimla.
He said that construction work of smart city is in progress at 73 sites  due to which problem of traffic jam is increasing in town. 
“Though Shimla police is working hard for smooth flow of traffic and we solicit the cooperation of public not to park the vehicles at unspecified places. ” SP said.
Shimla police urge tourists to follow the covid appropriate behavior and park their vehicles only in the parking spaces available.
After opening of all interstate vehicular transport People could come to Shimla and other Tourists places without e pass or without having any RT-PCR report.
All religious places are also opened their gate for devotees with effect from July 1 also witnessing the heavy footfalls after keeping close for last two months.
